UPCOMING STUDENT EVENTS:
Graduation time is quickly approaching and will be
here before you know it! Sunday,
May 27, 2018 during each of our morning worship services, we will be
honoring our graduating seniors. If you
would like for your student to participate, we need your response and
information by Monday, May 6, 2018. Follow THIS LINK to register your student! We will need 2 pictures, 1 baby and 1 senior picture, of your student.
Please make sure that your student is at the church
gym no later than 8:00 am on May 27. We will meet in the gym for breakfast and a
quick rehearsal. Please secure your
and any additional regalia and have them bring that with them on May 27. We will not wear caps during the recognition
but we will be in gowns.
We will have students participate at the beginning
of the 9:30 classic and the end of the 9:30 modern services. Each student participating will sit through
the entire 11:00 modern service in a reserved section at the front of the
auditorium. Immediately following the 11:00 modern service a lunch will be
provided for your student in the gym. Any additional guests will be charged $10
per person or $30 for a family of 4 or more. Please indicate how many in
your family will be attending the luncheon when you REGISTER HERE. If that number changes, please let us know by Sunday, May 20 by emailing Marilyn McCrory at Mmccrory@fbcburleson.com

Our students will work alongside many families, organizations, and churches in both Moore and Oklahoma City. The mission is reconstruction and renewal after the devastating tornado that hit Moore and OKC. We will partner with people from Cross and Crown Ministry, Project 58 (The Spero Project), Restore OKC and Serve Moore. Through these organizations we will be able to work on the construction of community centers, transitional homes, city beautification projects, and residential houses. Our students will be helping with construction and community building in the heart of the most affected areas.
