ExperienceI received my counseling license in June of 2013. I have counseled a variety of clients at Travis Avenue Baptist Church and NorthPointe FBC Joshua during my internship experiences.
Nature of Counseling
My purpose in life is to stay connected to my Heavenly Father through the power of the Holy Spirit in such a way that reflects an intimate, organic relationship. As a result of this relationship, I desire to serve others by bringing hope and healing through the counseling relationship. I am committed to utilizing my knowledge of psychology, the wisdom of theology as presented in the Bible, and my life experiences to become the conduit through which others can find restoration. I will seek to be a positive influence in my clients’ lives and to conduct all of my relationships with the highest ethical and moral integrity. In light of this, I believe that the purpose of the counseling relationship is to reach specific goals for individual and relational growth, which are mutually agreed upon by both the client and the counselor and consistent with biblical truth.
