Help keep Burleson healthy and safe for everyone!
IS FIRST BURLESON GATHERING THIS SUNDAY?
WE ARE BACK IN THE BUILDING.
BUT - we are one church, with hundreds of locations. We know there are many who are unable to join us for worship in person, and we understand that. We love that First Burleson is in homes, neighborhoods, backyards and all over the community, state and even world! We are committed to creating an environment that meets government recommendations for safety. Our on campus services have been redesigned to create an environment that allows for social distancing. This includes reduced capacity and adjusted service times. We are asking everyone to wear a face mask, at your comfort level. We continue to follow CDC guidelines for cleanliness and social distancing, and hope you and your family feel comfortable here on campus.
We have the 9:30 traditional service, 11:00 modern service and 12:30 Español service available in person and via live stream on Facebook or at www.firstburleson.org/live.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDCARE?
We are so excited to slowly transition all of our kids, students and adult LIFE Groups to be back on campus. We are taking the first step to do that - with childcare for Sunday Worship for babies through kindergarten age starting September 27
. Reservations will be required weekly for your preschooler, and a reservation link will open Monday-Thursday for the coming Sunday.
ARE FIRST BURLESON OFFICES OPEN ON WEEKDAYS?
Yes! Drop by and say hello, or give us a call with any questions, needs or just to talk. 817-295-2221
CAN I STILL GIVE?
We'd like to encourage you to continue to GIVE! We are being called to be the church as opportunities arise to do ministry. Many people are looking for a place of comfort to turn to and are stricken with panic and fear, so we need to you continue to give as we continue to engage the culture around us. We hope if you have not been giving to the church, you start! This is a time to be sacrificial and step up. You can give through our church app, which is available in the App Store or Google Play or by clicking HERE.
What can we (the Church) do?
Be the church. Get with your LIFE Group and check on those that you know that are at risk. If you do not have a LIFE Group, we want to help you find one! Right now, it is so important to ENGAGE with others while we are all sheltered in place. Our LIFE Groups are still meeting virtually and we want you there too! Email Sam Ross at email@example.com or click here to find a LIFE Group.
Other things you can do:
Volunteer at Promises! Promises is hard at work serving our community - and many volunteers are unable to help. If you would like to serve at Promises click HERE.
You can also help Promises by donating items to the Food Pantry.
|Items can be dropped off at the east door of the Promises warehouse.|
