Help keep Burleson healthy and safe for everyone!
In light of the new state mandates, we are putting the following measures in place for our on-campus Sunday morning worship services. We are asking that all members and guest wear a face covering while in common areas of our campus. Masks are encouraged during worship as well. Masks will be available at each entrance.
UPDATE: CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
Our greatest concern is for the safety and well being of our church family, Child Development Center and staff. At First Burleson, we are very intentional about providing clean, sanitary, and safe environments for everyone who walks through our doors. We take this situation seriously and we are following all recommendations from the City of Burleson and Centers of Disease Control and Prevention. We miss you dearly, church family!
IS FIRST BURLESON GATHERING THIS SUNDAY?
We are excited to finally be Together Again beginning June 28. In order to create a spacious and safe environment, we will have limited seating with adequate spacing in our Worship Centers.
Before You Come Back to Church....
Ask the following questions on behalf of your entire group before saving your spot
Am I showing any flu-like symptoms?
Have I had a fever of 100.4 or higher in the past 14 days?
Have I had exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
Is there any medical reason why I believe I shouldn’t be around others?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we encourage you to join us online. We have the 9:30 traditional service, 11:00 modern service and 12:30 Español service available via live stream on Facebook
or at www.firstburleson.org/live
CAN I STILL GIVE?
We'd like to encourage you to continue to GIVE! We are being called to be the church as opportunities arise to do ministry. Many people are looking for a place of comfort to turn to and are stricken with panic and fear, so we need to you continue to give as we continue to engage the culture around us. We hope if you have not been giving to the church, you start! This is a time to be sacrificial and step up. You can give through our church app, which is available in the App Store or Google Play or by clicking HERE
What can we (the Church) do?
Be the church. Get with your LIFE Group and check on those that you know that are at risk. If you do not have a LIFE Group, we want to help you find one! Right now, it is so important to ENGAGE with others while we are all sheltered in place. Our LIFE Groups are still meeting virtually and we want you there too! Email Sam Ross at firstname.lastname@example.org or click here to find a LIFE Group.
Other things you can do:
Volunteer at Promises! Promises is hard at work serving our community - and many volunteers are unable to help. If you would like to serve at Promises click HERE.
Pray for our country and the world.
Pray. Serve. Minister. Love.
