STUDENTS

At the core, everything we do with First Burleson Students begins with loving God and loving others. Out of our love for God and others flows the overwhelming conviction to develop young disciples of Jesus who are not only ready to take on life after high school but do so in ways that multiply and expand the Kingdom of God here on earth.

We are a Student-Led, Adult-Guided Student Ministry. Students are not the church of the future, they are the church of today!

This Camp is for First Burleson Students who will have completed 7th-12th grades during the 2022/2023 school year.

Youth Impact Camp - a Camp put on by cooperating Texas Baptist Churches
Date: June 17-21, 2024
Cost: Registration - $400 ($50 deposit paid before June 1); $450 Late Registration ($50 deposit paid after June 1)
Location: LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas

JUNE 02-07

We are headed to New Orleans this Summer with First Burleson Students!

In our efforts to make disciples and graduate minsters, we believe that short-term mission trips are vital to the faith development of a young believer. This trip will stretch and grow our students as they serve in a new context.

Cost: : $700 - covers all transportation, lodging, programming, and meals except for snacks/food on the road.
Who: Any 7th-12th Grader may join this trip, as well as parents.
Where: We will stay on campus at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and do mission projects throughout the city.

SUNDAYS

Our students have the opportunity to be a part of the body of Christ by serving on Sunday mornings across many areas of ministry.

At 9:00 students have the option to worship or serve. At 10:30 students have the option to worship, serve, or attend our Student Sunday Gathering. We have check-in in the gym at 10:00 with donuts and games. Each week we teach a lesson with guided discussion around tables.

WEDNESDAY

Our students meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm for worship, fellowship, and to study Scripture together in the Merge Room. LIFE groups will conclude our time together each Wednesday evening.
